--- title: "First post" date: 2026-09-04 category: Notes tags: [Meta] url: https://dynamite-blog.pages.dev/2026/09/hello --- This is the first post on this blog, which means the site is live and the publishing pipeline works end to end. ## What this is A place to write things down. Posts land here when there is something worth keeping: a problem that took too long to debug, a tool that turned out to be better or worse than expected, notes I want to be able to find again later. Short entries are fine. Not everything needs to be an essay. ## How it works The whole site is static. Posts are Markdown or MDX files in `_posts/`, each one carrying its own frontmatter — title, slug, date, category, tags. A prebuild step reads them, converts the Markdown to HTML, and writes the JSON payloads the app loads at runtime. The build then pre-renders every route, so what gets deployed is plain HTML plus a small amount of JavaScript for hydration and interactive bits like search. That output is served from Cloudflare Pages. Alongside the pages, the build also emits `/rss.xml`, `/sitemap.xml`, and `llms.txt` for anything that would rather read a machine-friendly index than crawl the HTML. Every post is also available as raw Markdown: append `.md` to the URL of any post to get the source. ## What is next More posts. If you want to follow along, the [RSS feed](/rss.xml) is the most reliable way; everything published here shows up there first.
